First, Zygomatic and Pterygoid implants were developed to help with these once hopeless patients, and now the “Trans-nasal” or “Z-Point” implant has given us yet another option in the pursuit of optionality. We will be discussing the history, philosophy, protocols, surgical techniques, and pearls of each of these 3 remote anchorage implant types.
