What Weather to Expect

We recommend hiring a car or using Uber, which is reliable and affordable throughout the greater Cape Town area. The Lord Charles Hotel is approximately 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
Currency & Practical Tips
South African Rand (ZAR). Cards are widely accepted. Tipping is customary, 10-15% at restaurants. Electricity: 220V, Type M plugs (bring a universal adaptor). Tap water is safe to drink.
